Privacy Policy
How TS TRADERZ UK LTD uses personal data in our apps and on this website. Last updated: 6 October 2026.
1. Who we are
TS TRADERZ UK LTD is registered in England and Wales. Our registered office is 102 Ealand Road, Batley, England, WF17 8HT. You can contact us at info@tstraderz.co.uk.
This policy covers the website tstraderz.co.uk and the mobile apps we develop (together, our “apps”). Our first app is a delivery management app. It explains what personal data we collect, why, and what your rights are under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
2. Our role, and who uses our apps
We use our apps in our own business, and we also make them available to other companies. Our role depends on who is running the app:
- When we run the app for our own business, or when you deal with us directly (for example by emailing us or using this website), we are the data controller. This policy applies in full.
- When another company uses our app for its own business, that company decides why and how the personal data is used, and is the data controller. We act as its data processor and handle the data only on its instructions. If you are a rider, employee or customer of that company, please contact that company first about your data. We will help them respond to you.
People who use or are affected by our apps include:
- Business users – staff of a business that manages deliveries in the app.
- Riders – people who collect and deliver parcels.
- Recipients – people who receive a parcel. They may not have an account, but some of their data is processed so the delivery can be made.
3. What data we collect
- Account details: name, phone number and email address.
- Delivery details: pickup and delivery addresses, and parcel details (for example size, description and delivery instructions).
- Rider location: precise GPS location. For riders, this includes location collected in the background while the rider is on duty, even when the app is closed or not on screen. It is used so that the business and recipients can track parcels live. Background location is only collected while a rider is on duty.
- Proof of delivery: photos, signatures, OTP (one-time passcode) verification, and the GPS location and timestamp of the delivery.
- Cash on delivery (COD) records: the amount to be collected, whether it was collected and when. We do not store full payment card details in the app.
- Device information: for example device model, operating system version, app version, language and crash or diagnostic data.
- Website: if you email us, we keep your email address and message. The website does not use cookies or analytics.
4. Why we use your data and our lawful basis
This table applies where we are the data controller. Where we act as a processor for another company, that company is responsible for its own lawful basis.
| Purpose | Lawful basis (UK GDPR Art. 6) |
|---|---|
| Creating and managing your account | Contract |
| Managing, assigning, delivering and tracking parcels | Contract |
| Collecting rider location in the background while on duty, to provide live tracking | Contract, and legitimate interests (providing and securing the delivery service). |
| Proof of delivery (photo, OTP, signature, GPS and time) and resolving delivery disputes | Contract and legitimate interests (evidence of delivery and preventing fraud) |
| Recording cash-on-delivery amounts | Contract, and legal obligation (keeping accounting records) |
| Sending SMS and app notifications about deliveries | Contract |
| Security, fraud prevention and fixing app problems (device information) | Legitimate interests |
| Answering your enquiries and support requests | Legitimate interests |
| Complying with legal and tax duties, and responding to lawful requests | Legal obligation |
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only as needed:
- Riders receive the pickup and delivery addresses, recipient name and phone number, and parcel details needed to complete a delivery.
- The business running the delivery (our own business, or the company using the app) can see the status, rider location during delivery, and proof of delivery for its own parcels.
- Companies that use our apps receive the data about their own riders, customers and deliveries.
- Service providers who work for us, such as cloud hosting providers, mapping and routing providers, SMS and push-notification providers, and crash reporting or analytics providers. They may only use data on our instructions.
- Professional advisers, authorities or courts where we are legally required, or to protect our rights.
- A buyer or successor, if our business is sold or restructured.
Some of our service providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.
6. How long we keep data
