Delete your account
How to ask us to delete your app account and personal data.
How to request deletion
- Send an email to info@tstraderz.co.uk with the subject “Account deletion request”.
- Send it from the email address linked to your account, and include the phone number and full name on the account, so we can find it.
- We may ask you to confirm your identity before we delete anything. This protects your account from being deleted by someone else.
- We will confirm by email once your request is complete. We aim to do this within 14 days, and in any case within one month.
If your account was set up by another company (for example you are a rider for a company that uses our app), that company controls your data. Email us anyway and we will pass your request to them and tell you what happens.
What we delete
- Your account profile: name, phone number and email address.
- Saved addresses and delivery preferences.
- Location data linked to your account (for riders).
- Device information linked to your account.
- Proof-of-delivery photos and signatures linked to you, where we do not need to keep them (see below).
What we may keep, and for how long
Some data we must or may need to keep after your account is deleted:
- Financial and accounting records, including cash-on-delivery records: kept for 6 years to meet legal and tax obligations.
- Delivery records and proof of delivery that are needed for an open dispute, claim or legal matter: kept until it is resolved, then for up to 12 months.
- Records needed to prevent fraud or abuse, for example that an account was closed: kept for up to 12 months.
- Backups: deleted data may stay in backups for up to 30 days before being overwritten.
Where we keep data, we limit it to what is necessary and we do not use it for any other purpose. Information about other people, such as a recipient’s details on a completed delivery, may be kept in the records of the business that ran the delivery.
Other rights
You can also ask to see, correct or restrict your data. See our Privacy Policy. If you are unhappy with how we handle your request you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
